Hey lovelies! I hope your weekend is going well so far. Today I’m back to share with you my thoughts and style tips for one of the trendiest pieces this season. As you can already tell from the title and my picture above, we’re going to be talking about wool hats. Now in my opinion, hats are one of the best accessories you can own. Depending on the style, they can really step up an outfit and take a boring look from 0 to 100 real quick. If you feel like you’re in a rut and have been wearing the same look over and over, I promise you that adding a wool hat will instantly add a cool factor to your outfit.
There are so many ones to choose from in the market right now. They all look great with basic skinny jeans or a simple shift dress for work. Getting one in a neutral color like black, brown or grey is key so you can wear it with any color scheme that you want. I also think it’s best to try on a few different styles to see what you like and what fits your personal style the best. If you feel you dress very girly and feminine, go with a floppy or wide brimmed hat. If you’re like me and like a little edge to your style, try a fedora or a boater hat. They give you a little more of an old school vibe.
The one I’ve been obsessed with is the BDG Felt Boater Hat from Urban Outfitters. It’s so inexpensive, great quality and has been an essential in my fall wardrobe. I’m so thankful that I have this to throw on when I don’t feel like putting effort into an outfit or fixing my hair. It easily corrects those issues and allows me to walk out of my house feeling happy and confident in how I look.
Every time I wear it out I get so many compliments and questions about where to buy one and how to style it. So, over the next few weeks I’m going to share with you 3 different ways that I have been wearing my boater hat lately. Hopefully, I give you some inspiration for your next outfit and you plan to find a wool hat that works for you too. Like I said, I promise you won’t regret it! Check back tomorrow and every Monday after to see what I come up with.
